The results of the control and supervision of the behavior of the maternal and child care program (PAMI), the granting of subsidies for the construction of houses, and the progress of the commitment to deliver different lines of agriculture (food, vegetables and fruits) to diets doctors in the Central West Popular Council, were announced today during the monthly meeting of that intermediate body between the Municipal Assembly of People's Power (AMPP) and the delegate, to which the administrative entities in their radius of action are subordinate.
Damaris Vadel Portuondo, Secretary of the AMPP, was present at that meeting in which representatives of agriculture, the Municipal Health Directorate and Hydraulic Resources also participated, the latter of whom heard the opinion of the delegates of various districts on the difficulties in satisfying the needs of the precious liquid after establishing the delivery cycle every 72 hours, which has raised several complaints from voters in those areas, and that according to the criteria of Casimiro Caballero López, President of the Council and other delegates, “no we must wait for them to become approaches to provide a solution ”.
The Secretary of the Assembly, when intervening in one of the most delicate points of the meeting, urged the health area and the Family Doctor, with the support of the factors of the constituency, to strengthen integrated community work to attend to pregnant women and their admission to the maternal home at the stage that is set, according to Public Health protocols.
Caballero López also recalled that the meeting corresponding to September began with an intervention by Dr. Liubit Chibás Pineda, who was recently requested to march to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, at that moment a specialist in Comprehensive General Medicine at the Omar Ranedo Pubillones polyclinic, on the scant attendance of women 25 years and older to the consultation for the performance of the cytological test for the detection of cervico-uterine cancer, a pathology against which it is possible to act with great possibilities of success, when it is discovered in an early stage.
The Central West Popular Council has 24 thousand 564 inhabitants and 10 districts, and during this meeting held at its "headquarters", the Julio A.
