Later, they wanted to invite them to the workshop, where they make toys, paper flowers, among other items, with their own hands, and their faces lit up with joy.
With these signs of affection, at the La Castellana Psycho-Pedagogical Medical Center, several young people with disabilities received the seven candidates for deputies to the National Assembly of Popular Power nominated by the Arroyo Naranjo municipality, where this institution is located.
After hearing about the work carried out in the center commented by its director and by several workers; one of the seven candidates, the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Party Esteban Lazo Hernández, president of the National Assembly of People's Power and of the Council of State, pointed out that in La Castellana the immense work and humanist vocation of the Cuban Revolution, of deep solidarity and love.
We had to come to this place, one feels that they work with the greatest dedication and dedication for the rights and well-being of human beings; essences, principles and values that we must continue to defend together as a society, he stressed.
For his part, the youngest of the nominees for this Havana municipality, Raúl Alejandro Palmero Fernández, commented that he had never had the privilege of visiting this facility before. “We have been really impressed with what we have seen here, with the wonder of this place. Works like this make us feel more proud to be Cuban and show how, despite the blockade and the difficult economic conditions we face, our country allocates significant resources to achieve social inclusion and dignify people. This is what we must continue to defend with our vote in the upcoming national elections, because without the Revolution places like these would not be possible," he assured before the labor group, delegates of this popular council, municipal authorities, among other guests.
Meanwhile, Brigadier General Ernest Feijóo Eiró, also a candidate for deputy, added that José Martí's desire comes true here, that the first law of our Republic be the cult of Cubans to the full dignity of man.
The second day of exchanges with the population of the candidates for deputies for Arroyo Naranjo also included emotional meetings with the staff of the Health area of the "Julián Grimau" polyclinic and with the workers of the "Justo Vega" Municipal House of Culture.
